Which Cloudways Server or Plan Should You Choose?
The best Cloudways configuration is the smallest one that reliably supports your real workload with acceptable headroom. The process starts with workload type, not a favorite cloud-provider logo.
Step 1: choose Flexible or Autonomous
WordPress/WooCommerce sites that prioritize hands-off autoscaling can start by evaluating Autonomous. Buyers who want provider and server control should evaluate Flexible.
Step 2: if Flexible, choose provider and location
Cloudways currently lists DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, AWS and Google Cloud. Prioritize regions close to your audience and provider characteristics that matter to your workload.
Step 3: size from evidence
Use current CPU, memory and traffic behavior if you have it. New sites should avoid oversized commitments and instead monitor. WooCommerce, LMS and uncached dynamic workloads usually deserve more caution than heavily cached content sites.
Step 4: validate after launch
Watch resource utilization, application response, database behavior and traffic peaks. Scaling should be a response to measured constraints rather than a substitute for application optimization.
